Not a screenshot. This desktop is rebuilt in CSS so you can poke it — click the pill in the menu bar to tuck the panel away and bring it back, expand a capsule, tick checkboxes and watch the gel-cap seam move, swap the wallpaper to see the glass do its job. The real one is SwiftUI.

The finish lab

PillSurface.swift, transpiled to CSS

Every capsule wears one of five enamel themes — color you assign, meaning you decide. On top of that, an app-wide finish chooses the surface. Two of them encode progress in the paint itself: the gel-cap seam and the fill edge slide on a spring as you check items off.

Gel cap — the seam sits at 15% + 75% × progress, so a fresh capsule already shows a thin cap.

Built-in decay

saturation is a deadline

Context rots. A capsule you haven't touched starts to lose its color — 30% of its saturation after three days, over half after six, when its metadata gives way to an amber “untouched” tag.

No badges, no notifications. The pill just looks the way the task feels, and a single touch brings the color all the way back.

Quick capture, anywhere

A small glass field drops from the top of the screen. Type a title, hit return, keep working. title >> note seeds it with context.

Clipboard, filed

Send whatever you just copied straight into the pinned capsule. URLs become links, code becomes snippets — kind is auto-detected.

Re-enter by number

Open the panel and jump into the Nth capsule. Its resume line answers “where was I?” before you've finished the sip of coffee.

One pin, always visible
